The tax will be applied per overnight stay to all guests, regardless of nationality or residence, aged 16 or over, who stay in tourist resorts and local accommodation establishments for a maximum of 5 consecutive nights per person, regardless of the type of booking. MUNICIPAL TOURISM TAX LOULÉ
Applied from 1st November 2024
The tax will be applied per overnight stay to all guests, regardless of nationality or residence, aged 16 or over, who stay in tourist resorts and local accommodation establishments for a maximum of 5 consecutive nights per person, regardless of the type of booking.
RATES
Low season - 1st November to 31st March - €1.00 per night and per person up to a limit of 5 consecutive nights.
High season - 1st April to 31st October - €2.00 per night and per person for up to 5 consecutive nights
WHEN AND WHERE IT IS PAID
The municipal tourist tax is due at check in or check out when paying for the stay, paid in a single instalment with the issue of the invoice/receipt. The municipal tourist tax is exempt from VAT.
EXEMPTIONS
Guests under the age of 16.
Guests who, during their stay, fall ill or are subject to any physical impediment, situations for which they require in-patient medical care.
Causes of force majeure, natural or other disasters.
